Due to OFCOM rules introduced July 2025, all new CIX signups must be verified over 18 years old. As you must be 18 years old to have a credit card we carry out a VERIFY call to our card processor. We do not make a charge and we do not store your card details. If you do not have a credit card or would prefer to handle age verification in a different way, please contact us.

The CIX Basic account is free of charge, allows you to join up to 10 open forums of your choice. You can use any of our access methods including CIX Reader, CIX Forums, Ameol or 3rd party readers like iXOLR for Apple devices. CIX Basic accounts have no email and do not allow any access to closed forums, you can upgrade to that later.
